Rare gesture on the road!!!

Even though it was snowing I decided to ride the long way home from work this afternoon. I am glad I did because as I pulled up to the stoplight at Baker and Exelsior and a car pulled next to me and rolled their window down. I was expecting the same "F&%K YOU A$$HOLE get off the road." However, the gentlemen said, "I a...ppreciate you on the road." And the lady in passenger seat yelled "it's your right!!!"

I was waiting for the yang of someone trying to run me off the road, but it never happened and it was a great ride home!! Cyclists don't hate cars (necessarily), and we do deserve some respect. I don't know if they heard my thank you, but I hope they did!!!
