39.5 miles - Cascade Lodge to Grand Marais and back x 2 - 7/4 - 7/5/13

39.5 miles = 19.7 miles - 18.1 avg - 31.5 max - 1:05:14 (7/4/13) + 19.7 miles - 18.4 avg - 31.2 max - 1:04;14 (7/5/13) - Black Trek - Felt really stiff on the 4th. Skipped the 3rd due to a crazy virus of the ears, eyes and throat. I woke up on the 3rd with my eyes pasted shut. Anyway, it would have been nice to get some more outdoor time in on the North Shore, but, the family wasn't feelin' it this year. I want to strike off with one of the kids, a friend, or myself next year and do some MTBing, hiking or something fun on the water. I can't do the sitting around the cabin and skipping stones any longer.
