11 miles - Elm Creek fatbike ride - 1 lap in 1hr 12min - 10 degrees - 12/24/12

11 miles - 9zero7 fatbike - My feet were too cold to do another lap. Tried the stick-on heat activators but they din't work. Got Field and Stream heater socks for X-mas. We will see how well they do. The ride was really cool. It took about a quarter of a lap to get the hang of the snow, but I moved along pretty good after that. Crashed once in a minor, and stupid manner. The trail is pretty well groomed. It took awhile to do Grizzland and it was icy in spots in Griz and the wooded area of the first few miles.
